Party of Six!

Another great session with this wonderful family!
We had so much fun during our session!
Three boys and one sweet princess. Each of these precious children has a unique and beautiful personality. I think we were able to capture their wonderful spirits and I am so blessed to work with families like this one.

Oh those baby blues!

The first thing you notice when you see Miss M is her gorgeous blue eyes! She is such a sweet little girl and will no doubt be crawling soon. It was a great morning with the S family and I am so happy with the beautiful images we captured. What a gorgeous and kind family!

One and Wonderful!

Miss P is such a little sweet heart! She is one busy girl and so funny! We had so much fun singing and laughing and playing with her Grammy. I know her parents are going to be so excited to receive this surprise portrait session when they return from their trip.

Fabulous Family!

Sweet sisters always have a special place in my heart since I have two little girls myself. Miss E and Miss G are absolutely breathtaking young ladies. We captured some great individual shots of each of them that show off their gorgeous eyes.

We had so much fun and the whole family joins in the session. Grandparents, their son and daughter along with their spouses and children. You can see from the group shot that the gene pool is bound to produce some beautiful children. They are extremely bright as well! Possibly future leaders of our great country!

What a change Mr. B has made since our last two sessions! He's walking (nearly running) and just turned one! He is a cutie pie and has sweethearts for parents.

Dad and his three young ladies!

The whole family! They were so much fun and I am honored to be a part of their annual tradition.

Gorgeous!

How gorgeous are these kids? Our sweet Mr. Z is so curious and a natural in front of the camera. How could you resist that gorgeous red hair and freckles? Miss E...well just look at those big blue eyes and blonde hair, do I need to say more? She is a doll!

The end of our session we kicked back a bit and went for a more casual, fall look. Again, couldn't you just eat them up? They are so adorable!

Best Friends

Miss A is an awesome big sis to Mr. G and it's so sweet how much they love each other. I know their parents see a different side at home :-) but their bond was so strong and we captured so many sweet moments between these two best friends.

I asked them not to smile and this is by far my FAVORITE picture from our session! It's intense and innocent at the same time.

Here's the whole crew! What a fun family!

Sugar and Spice

Miss Z is the purest and sweetest little lady! We had so much fun playing outside and exploring nautre!

Who could resist those big brown eyes? Mr. C is such a charmer and one busy boy!

Always Smiling!

Miss C is full of smiles and laughs! She is always so much fun to photograph.

Busy Bee!

Mr. T is one busy little guy! Our session was so fun and full of lots of action!

What a beautiful family!

Dreamy!

Look at those dreamy eyes! Miss A is such a sweet little angel.

Proud mom and dad and one happy little lady!

Catching up!

Life is so busy.

I am finally catching up on blogging and sharing some of the great sessions I have had the privelege of doing the past couple of weeks.

What a great time of year. I have had so much fun and have worked with so many amazing familes. I can't wait to share some of the great shots we captured for these families to treasure for hundreds of years!

So...Here we go!

Beautiful, Beautiful Girl and Gown

Breathtaking! Miss J is simply angelic. She was so much fun to work with and don't you just love her christening gown?

We created a gorgeous canvas of this gorgeous portrait for Miss J's baptism.

A Super Fun Session!

Another fun session with one of my favorite families! Miss S and Mr. C have really blossomed into two of the sweetest and expressive kiddos! We were stopped a couple of times so people could tell mom and dad what beautiful children S and C are. :-) How cool! They are just as beautiful inside too. Smart and kind. Thanks for a great session guys!

Baby Blues!

What a beautiful and happy baby boy! Mr. D continues to be one of the sweetest, mildest babies I have met. His big blue eyes make your heart melt and that smile just makes you want to squeeze those sweet little cheeks!

I’m back!

Thank you all for being so patient with me the past four weeks. My dad passed away unexpectedly and I have been a bit overwhelmed with emotions, legal issues and trying to keep life as normal (and exciting) as possible for my girls. My oldest daughter started kindergarten and lost her first tooth this past month. My youngest started pre-K at a local church and has been so sad to be separated from big sis. This month we were definitely reminded what amazing friends and families we have in our lives. I am truly blessed to be surrounded by such remarkable people. Here are a few photographs of some personal events last month. Enjoy!

The Cutest Boys!

What cutie pies! Mr. D and Mr. N are so precious and you can see by their mom and dad why they are so beautiful! Big brother did such a great job and we had a ton of laughs with Mr. N! He was so cute trying to do what we asked him to do and his interpretation was so literal that it was hilarious! One of my favorite shots is of Mr. D looking at his little brother quizzically while Mr. N tried so hard to sit just like his big brother. Seriously these are two of the cutest boys!

Gorgeous family!

What cuties!!!

They are both just as sweet as they are cute!

Silly Times!

This weekend was wonderful! I had the chance to work with a family I have thoroughly enjoyed watching grow! Mr. W and his little sister have grown up so much and are busy little bees! They brought their precious cousin, Miss R with them and we captured some great shots of the kiddos alone and together. Mr. W is so silly and earned four dinosaur tattoos for doing such a great job! Can you believe how sweet Miss K is? I just want to eat her up! Those cheeks and big brown eyes are so sweet! Miss R was so shy and sweet, but a natural in front of the camera! Can you believe what gorgeous eyes she has? Such a sweet family!

My favorite place in the world! Athens, GA!

This month I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to spend the day in my home away from home - Athens, Georgia. We had so much fun re-aquainting ourselves with the campus, walking around downtown and enjoyed lunch at DePalma's. The weather wasn't the best, but nothing could take away that tingly feeling I get every time I visit my college alma mater. The University of Georgia will always hold a special place in my heart and I cannot wait for another great football season!

Sanford Stadium, Where the magic happens!
I wish I could have climbed on the roof of the Tate Center for a better view!

Georgia Theatre - I love what the marquis said that day..."SWEET"
Yes it is and always has been!

Sugary Sweet Miss SK!

Miss SK was so sugary sweet and we had so much fun capturing her sweet expressions for a three-month portrait. Those bright eyes and sweet disposition made our session even more fun. I cannot wait to see her grow into a beautiful little girl!

Bright eyes! So sweet!

Eskimo kisses with mommy!

Where in the world is Christy?

Summer time is generally a slower season in the portrait photography world and June brought many opportunities to visit with friends & families and create some unforgettable personal memories. I was on the road nearly the entire month coming home only to re-pack and meet with a few wonderful clients. We started the month off on a family vacation to Orlando (earlier post), spent a couple of days with one of my best friends, her kids and my family at Lake Lanier, drove to Alabama to visit with friends in from Texas and then took an amazingly relaxing last minute girls trip with two of my very best friends to the beach! I missed my hubbie and am happy to be home now. Here are a few memories captured...

Tire swing at the lake

Picnic at the lake

We hoped to get some great shots in the beautiful white dresses my friend gave the girls, but it rained and we had to improvise. I love my polka dot umbrella and it was a life saver that day!

TGFT (thank goodness for tripods!) :-)
